Can you provide references?
Yes. We would be happy to give you a list of clients that we have worked with in the past.
What is the difference between a consultation and an estimate, and are your estimates free?
Most homeowners have an idea of what they want but are not sure how to incorporate their ideas and need assistance; others are less familiar with the process. When we sit down with the homeowner to discuss these issues and help to develop their yards potential, there may be a consultation fee - depending on whether or not a design is involved.
If a homeowner calls with specific questions as to how much a specific component costs and they have the measurements, we are happy to provide an estimate for free.
Is it necessary for us to have a design drawn up?
It depends on how many components you need installed. It is difficult to realize the full potential of your property without doing a design. So yes, it is in your best interest to do a design; it is something you will benefit from. The design allows everyone involved to realize the project before it begins.
If I have a completed design will Goodway Landscape install it?
Most of the time we won't. However, if the design is to scale and is done by a reputable landscape company we will certainly consider it.
How much will the design cost?
Design costs will vary with the size and convolution of the property. Most residential properties range from $500-$4000 with the average being $1800. That money is refunded to you when it is applied toward the final cost of the project. For more information please read about our Design Incentive Program.
